Sorry how is the argument asinine? If a person is playing guitar badly, yea its good to want them to play better, but thats not what you are saying. You are saying "sorry the guitar was only meant to play classical music, strumming faster, tuning different & playing other chords goes against that."

were strumming guitars. One of them looked a bit like Elvis. He played a sad song about AI stealing creativity. I wanted to join in, but my voice wouldn’t come out. The café turned into a library, and I was surrounded by people arguing about generative AI. They were passionate, waving their arms.

The best thing about that particular style of guitar is it isn’t really super hard, technically. If you watch his left hand, it’s hardly changing. It’s all in the strumming. He’s kind of both percussion and some amount of drone that the whistle can soar over.

What’s interesting is I’m slowly starting to recognize notes and patterns. If I can keep working as hard as I am I know I’ll get there. I’ve seen vast improvements.
