Is it not the moment when an electron switches from behaving like a wave to a particle, metaphorically a kind of unknowable transformative moment?

My quantum physics is a little rusty, though.

One thing I LOVED in the books was that in Artificial Condition MB and ART were like…
“Kill all the humans? But then who would make our shows???”

ART even clutches its pearls (I mean function)

Which (to me) made it canon that media in the Murderbot Universe is generated by humans…

It’s what happens when history is taught and understood through a colonial lens. It’s whitewashed and therefore deeply flawed. We all *pay for it* metaphorically and literally.

AI slop kills. It (metaphorically, for now) kills actual artists by not only scrapping, or stealing their art style, but selling it back to themselves and others at a much more cheaper level. Eventually cutting them out of the market.

For the record I find it more entertaining in a baffling sort of way than anything else, and I derive joy from metaphorically smacking people with an “Actually, she’s a woman.”

We now live in a world where the person who metaphorically "lives next door" (or competes with you in the market) is from another country and speaks another language. That's not going to change, no matter how uncomfortable it makes white hillbillies or aging boomers.

Few things will get a block from me faster than people who say cats are evil. They are not. I’ve had dogs and cats, and the love they give is no different. Life is too short to not yeet anti-cat people into the sun, I’m just sad I can only do it metaphorically.

Am I the only one who sees that Waffles are being used PURELY metaphorically? So much unnecessary misunderstanding! Waffles as a thing in itself has nothing to do with Hitler or his literal re-incarnations. Have you ever tried to push THEM off the platform, instead of the waffles distraction?

He’s breathtakingly good. Superb Anschlag (what’s that in English? Touch?) /the type I like best. And his range! He can do -nay, be- both the eagle and the dying swan, metaphorically. Or a whole soar of eagles. Or the occasional lark :D

In America, there is a VERY small number of people fucking things up for the rest of us.

Perhaps we have not been giving them the proper motivation.

So over the next few weeks, as people watch their children go hungry, let's brainstorm some ways to wrap bar soap in towels.

Metaphorically.

It is extremely telling that I cannot decide whether you were speaking metaphorically or not.

Granted, it could be both metaphorical and literal.

His brain has been mashed potatoes since they were crying over Biden being old. Legacy Media should be gutted in its entirety. Stop watching them. Stop giving them money. Bring them to ruin. Only then might we be free of this rigged, rich man's game. Burn them all (metaphorically, for now).

What even is there left to say about journalists who metaphorically shoot the public’s intelligence and then ask why liberal Democratic messaging did this? They don’t care. They like it. It’s a fun toy to them.

This is devastating for a lot of middle class voters... Many people will NEVER be able to get back on their feet again (metaphorically, if not also literally).

Every time I see a photo of Trump, I notice the people standing with him literally, because they are standing with him metaphorically as well.

RFK Jr, Oz, Rubio, etc. There is no distance between what Trump does and their responsibility. We will never forget.

I'd like you to show me any senior Democratic politician who acknowledges the RW propaganda network.

The only time a Democrat complained was in 1998 when Hillary called out the "vast right-wing conspiracy," got metaphorically punched in the face for it, and then tucked her tail between her legs.
