I'm a working class man, maybe even working poor. But even I know that if I want real, actual art? I shell out the big bucks. If I can't pay it off right away? I work with the artists to come up with a payment plan that works. When it comes to art....you just can't beat human art.

It kills imagination. Why think to hard on what your character will look like. Or wear. Or wield. Or world they'll live in. Or their facial expressions. Or their entire voice, body and written? When you can have a machine that does all that for you.

While dissuading those who use it to put dollars into the hands of those who not only CAN make art, but are willing to make art for others. Even come up with payment plans for those, like myself, who want art but are short of means.

It kills talent by dissuading others the need, or want, to develop there own art style or indeed move to learn it themselves by offering said cheap, and easy, way of having a computer do it for them, with out the need to credit it.

AI slop kills. It (metaphorically, for now) kills actual artists by not only scrapping, or stealing their art style, but selling it back to themselves and others at a much more cheaper level. Eventually cutting them out of the market.
