#foamflower
Foamflower (Tiarella) is in the Saxifrage family, like the Heuchera featured yesterday. The two plants are being hybridized to create x Heucherella “foamy bells.” Tiarella is partially evergreen over winter, the leaves often flat against the ground, sometimes with bronze color. (1/2) #nativeplants

I have reviewed my photos of my excess plants to determine what to bring

I have committed to bring A Lot of Plants on the group spreadsheet

I have made the little cards with the QR codes for the plants I have not previously brought to shares (foamflower, pale spike lobelia, sycamore, downy GR...)

Jk, I got foamflower and Canada mayflower confused. Both short plants with clusters of white flowers, but different leaf shape.

Last, bugleweed and foam flower. To be honest, I don’t love dark purple foliage, but these two do well together in our part shade garden here. (Which almost never gets watered.)

Following up from all the suggestions I got here and on Substack. See the screen prints to find out what I'm thinking. Thanks so much to everyone who suggested plants. 🌱💚 #nativeplants

Love that tree shot, it's beautiful.

I got to sample fish on some gorgeously verdant streams this week, just overloaded with green.

Sensitive fern, hay-scented fern, and/or foamflower might be good options. Woodland poppy might also do well.

Consider a sedge and some foamflower! Both are semi evergreen, low growing, and nice contrasting shapes and textures with the 2.

Catching up on some photos... I co-led a pika hike at Wahkeena Falls at the end of May. We heard only one pika but we saw quite a few wildflowers, including white shooting stars, penstemon, foamflower, upside down flower and some snails and slugs. The group had a fantastic time!

Yeah, we're going to plant more Sedum ternatum in the next couple of weeks to do exactly that. And a little Red Dragon along the wall for color contrast.

There's some foamflower and wild ginger already in there for groundcover, and they're supposed to spread.
