Some powerful messages too. I especially liked the Bittern, Great Crested Grebes, beautiful dawn chorus and the extraordinary spring tide feeding frenzy at the Wirral. #HamzasHiddenWildIsles

A great start to #HamzasHiddenWildIsles, I’ve been looking forward to this. Breathtaking footage of beautiful wildlife. I also like how it shows the experience behind the camera and how wildlife watching connects people and all the great people featured.

Yeah it is, Verbena is the genus name and Vervain is the common name for species in it. I came across that name when I first learnt what it was and it has stuck for me. Although have just checked and Verbena seems to be the more used name for ornamental plants and Vervain for the wild species.

Just seen the #PerfectPubWalks episode with Chris Packham that was on More4 earlier, a nice watch. I relate to and admire Chris in many ways and like a lot of his personal programmes over the years it was a powerful and insightful watch.
