Moving the qsnap. I might change the colors on the two little butterflies. I'll wait to finish everything else first but they seem to stick out a bit at this point.

I’ve been in the ICU for most of the last week & I’m struggling so so so hard

the doctor has suggested I
get a dog to help me, but I cannot afford the cost of a hypoallergenic dog, let alone the cost of a service dog

Honestly. Dealing with it along with chronic illness is like being attacked by fire ants while you have the flu.

respond appropriately. They tell themselves it's not actually that hot or that the pain they're feeling is a sign they need to toughen up. The injury from the hot pan ends up more severe as well as a long term injury to their nervous system from training it not to respond to pain.

I like the analogy of touching a hot pan. The externalizer responds immediately and strongly, sometimes causing damage to things or people around them. The long term consequences are having to repair damage and possibly shame about not being in control of the response.

The internalizer does not

I'm sure there will be future weird dreams that are related. My subconscious is doing its own shadow work and uses dreams to provide progress updates.

I went from 11 ct. aida to 40 ct. linen because I'm afflicted with a similar form of delusion. Now 40 ct. is my favorite, so it worked out!

I've stitched three gifts and hated every minute. Somehow women especially have had it drilled into their heads that even their hobbies should benefit other people.

Now I only stitch for me.
