It's really like something out of a fairy tale.
It kinda reminds me about how in the past, spice traders would tell fictional stories about where cinnamon came from (like giant birds built their nests with cinnamon sticks, and when the sticks wore out, they would throw them onto land)

I spent like half of 2025 in an unmotivated reading slump. In Nov I saw a post about this series and remembered how hilarious the first book was. I’m finally reading this second book and it just might be what my slump was begging for. I just love these characters so much!
