Like we've all seen them like 50 times but every time somebody will go
"LOOK AN OLD CAR :D

He also eventually learns that the police force in Vegas are corrupt and that the chief himself runs a chapter of the mob that keeps having head butts with the crimson rain chapter....
And maybe he also had a hand in the fall of XL's parents company....

Long story short; XL eventually learns that San Lang is actually Hua Cheng, owner of the Ghost City casinos and hotels as well as head of the Crimson Rain Mob. Together they solve mysteries around Vegas, XL opening a PI service and HC using his mob connections to help solve cases ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+

As XL is staying there, he learns about even more strange disappearances happening at the Crescent Moon Pass casino and bar. The staff keeps disappearing! San Lang offers to help XL investigate as he has a lot of knowledge about the casinos around Vegas

XL gets presented the award, and sure enough, a red limo is waiting for him outside to take him to Ghost city. He arrives at the grand casino and sees a familiar man in a suit waiting for him.

San Lang tells him not to worry! He knows the owner of one of the casinos here, Ghost City. He'll just set up a room for XL on the house! XL tried rapidly to decline, or to at least let him pay for the room but San Lang is insistent and tells XL there will be a car for him when he's finished

They finally arrive at their destination and XL is...sad to go. He thanks the man for being so helpful and he finally gives XL his name...San Lang. San Lang asks if he has anywhere to stay tonight and XL sheepishly admits that he hadn't thought that far ahead yet...

Apparently he's read the case XL solved in the news paper and was very impressed with XLs detective work. He offers to drive XL to the precinct and the two hit it off. This strange man is so charming and suave and seems to know this city like the back of his hand!

The man tips his fedora to him, XL mutters out apologies and the man asks him what a "cow poke" like him is doing in the city that never sleeps? Ironic because only months ago XL was being referred to as a "city slicker" XL explains and the man's eyes seem to light up-

XL travels to Vegas, it's the first time he's been in a big city since the fall of his father's company and it is overwhelming. As he's stumbling through the city, lost and a little confused, he bumps into a tall man in a dark three piece suit

XL is able to get Xuan Ji arrested, and the case gets so big it makes it all the way to Las Vegas. XL gets called by the police precinct to get presented with an award for making an incredible citizens arrest!

He investigates, dressing himself as a young lady just at the dude ranch on holiday. He soon discovers that a women named Xuan Ji is kidnapping these Ingénue esc women who she thinks are there with a man she's infatuated with, Pei Ming

Soon however, he notices that young women start to go missing around the dude ranch. This is very concerning so he goes to his boss, but he doesn't want to get the police involved because it'd be bad for business. So XL decides to try and solve the disappearances himself

He settles in Nevada, working a small dude ranch that lets wealthy city slickers like he used to be come "experience the Wild West". XL is just custodial and sometimes helps with animals, but he just keeps his head down and tries to do his work with out anyone noticing him
