Been a Deadhead and a regular concert goer since 1990 till about 2015 when I mostly refuse to pay millionaires hundreds of dollars to watch them perform. I’m not a racist science denying treasonous hateful nazi supporting magat.
Pinned
I became a Deadhead about a month after my first Grateful Dead concert which was on May 5, 1990 at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles Ca. I then went on to attend many more. And after Jerry Garcia died, I then attend concerts of other old classic rock bands. I saved most ticket stubs. Not all.
When the Grateful Dead played 4 non-consecutive concerts at the Oakland Coliseum on Dec8,9,11,&12, I was in attendance all 4 nights. Their last run in their home venue in 1994 was pretty cool. The set lists got hotter at each show. I believe it was raining this run and yet, Shakedown St was hopping

I was inside the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on December 8, 2012 watching Jackie Green open for Bob Weir. Both bands choose to play some wonderful tunes. The crowd was mellow, and this concert experience cost less than 50 bucks to attend. This was part of my ‘good old days’.

It was when roger waters said he supports putins russian war to wipe out Ukraine, I could no longer stomach any of Roger’s music, and that includes Pink Floyd. Before Roger came out as a Nazi, I was stoked to go to the San Jose Arena on Dec8,2010 to watch the wall album live. RIP Pink Floyd

Jim Morrison might just be celebrating his 82? birthday today if it weren’t for Sex, Drugs, and ROCK and ROLL. He wrote some groovy poetry and on his way out, and he joined the infamous 27 Club. I think The Doors should have more fans today than they do.

Today in rock and roll history: JOHN LENNON ASSASSINATED BY MAD GUNMAN. Don’t say his name. Decades later, Paul McCartney says he lost his best friend to gun violence as he protests in the streets. The unwritten songs we’ve lost, the good times at concerts we’ve lost, I just couldn’t imagine

Had this poster up in my dorm room. One night several folk went in on a large baggie of shrooms. I ended the night listening to a Doors bootleg concert on cassette and I watched this poster come alive and attended my first doors concert live. A great concert experience. Tomorrow is Jim’s birthday.

An extremely rare repost from me, bc this is right on. Not, if you will, an Anti-nativity scene, but a brief glance at reality to the people celebrating fantasy, being the holiday season. This idea needs to spread. I dig that reality is a drag these days, but reality always better than fantasy
Right next to the nativity scene in front of the State House in Concord, NH. I❤️NH

I do not dig streaming music services. I hate that WiFi is needed and commercials are part of the deal. Also, everybody who uses Spotify is an ice supporter. I buy and download songs/albums on iTunes so I always have music. This is my Top25 most played songs.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!! The vote to authorize the release of the Epstein files was obviously not an immediate release. The official expected release date for the Epstein files by Trump’s GOP is Friday December 19,2025. You can say we demand to see the full files but it’s stupid to demand them immediately

The US does not protest or boycott even close enough for us citizens to make a difference. Maybe it’s time just to buy the products I once enjoyed, even still knowing my money would be supporting maga, project 2025, ice, the ballroom, and other evils. I know my boycott makes ZERO DIFFERENCE.

World AIDS Day is December 1, no matter what the president of the united state says.

When you attend your next concert, and the one after that, and the one after that, please, Please remember this public service announcement from the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir, from the stage.

Ma surprised my younger brother and me by picking us up on Nov30,1984 after school and taking us to Dodger Stadium to see Michael Jackson do the victory tour with his brothers. Was 14 and this was my 2nd concert. If I was a Michael fan, this would’ve blown my mind, and I’ve never seen a show like it

I hand rolled these with a dollar bill. They were brought to a Robert Plant and Alison Krauss concert on a soccer field in Wisconsin where there was a strict, and I mean strict no smoking policy. I brought all of these back to the car after the concert.

I joined twitter maybe a year and change before talk about Elon buying the place. I dug it a lot, at first, but as time went on, it became ass backwards. Account got suspended 6 times for calling nazis nazis. And a list of handles that I used on Twitter that I never canceled because I was suspended

Today, November 27, is the birthday of Jimi Hendrix. I’ve slowly been adding patches to this jacket. The first bunch of patches included a Pink Floyd one… which I covered up with this Jimi Hendrix one after I realized Roger Waters is a nazi. Too many folks tell me they dig my Bob Marley patch.

My rare #TicketStubWed share is the biggest names in classic rock and roll that I got to see in concert, Decades after their prime. I got most my ticket stubs enlarged and they hang on the wall in my bedroom. Yes I saw the Rolling Stones and The Doors and CSNY and Pink Floyd, without Roger Waters

Was inside the OAKLAND Coliseum on Sun Nov26,2000 watching the OAKLAND Raiders beat the Atlanta Falcons. Rich Gannon was the and my first quarterback. I am no longer an Oakland Raider or NFL fan. But when I was, I watched EVERY game possible, At a home with TiVo, at a bar, or at the game.

I once had a decent sized Grateful Dead bootleg cassette collection. Once had 8 of these boxes hanging on my wall. Each day before I left home, I would stand in front of the display for a few minutes and would pick a few different tapes for the days soundtrack. I no longer do such enjoyable things.

Was looking at a newspaper on Nov24,2010, saw that Jason Bonhams Led Zeppelin Experience was at the Warfield in SF in a few hours. I grabbed my hat and walked to Walnut Creek BART, scored the concert ticket at the box office and saw a truly fun show with LOUD live Zeppelin music. Good life choice
