Some thoughts:
Twitch's entire design of the Sponsorship program has been backwards from the beginning. They've only really considered brands and money, and not the actual creators and their communities. It's an ad product, rather than a creator product - and as a result, all it will be is a race to the bottom where both creators AND Twitch ultimately lose. Twitch isn't like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter, where the value is often in views. Instead, the value of Twitch is long durations/active engagement. The idea of a 'verified view' system is bottom-feeding scraps that fall from the mouths of YouTube and TikTok. And even if Twitch is still selling these sponsorships at industry standard rates, to boost their own profits, it may mean they're taking more of it - and creators are getting less. Again, a race to the bottom. I’d reverse the system. Put creators in the driver's seat. Allow creators to set their rates, the niche of the game or brand they're willing to work with, and the type of campaign (flat rate, clickthroughs, view-based, etc). Build analytics around that that show creators their performance stats from these campaigns and offer comparables to others in the space so they understand if they are pricing themselves too low (or too high). And then allow brands to make decisions around that... Does the brand want MAX views but low engagement? Does the brand want more people wishlisting for the game but fewer total views? If the brand increases its spend, can it get better results in both cases? What about the top creators? What about under 100CCV streamers who often have the most tight-knit communities and may garner a higher rate as a result of better active performance? In the short term, it may mean Twitch makes a bit less by not screwing over its creators or bending over for bottom-of-the-barrel rates; in the long term, it helps build something sustainable that increases in accuracy and value over time, commanding higher rates and bigger budgets from brands

Just rebalanced and normalized attack cycle durations for all non-heroes. All a bit quicker on the draw. Killiness was lacking, especially with the weaker units and artillery. Should be smoother now, and with attack rates more similar it’ll be easier to balance from here.

Gaslamp Quarter Association should lead a charge to get the bollards put back / left in place for longer durations to minimize staff costs. Seems deliveries could be accommodated on perpendicular streets or, at worst, just remove / replace bollards for one lane up 5th for “authorized vehicles only”

The reaction I got was that this method was imperfect and would need to be validated by experiment. Unwilling to compare to the greater imperfections of direct measurement (eg, sampling durations >24 hr then impractical). Wouldn't admit that approved methods not a reliable basis of comparison. 3/3

Today’s project is a fairly compact electronic circuit that allows controlling Kato turnouts from a regular toggle switch. Details are in the alt. This may be of interest to @cyaup.bsky.social as I think your Z scale turnouts use the same wiring. Let me know if you want to wiring diagram.
A small electronic circuit consisting of a four position cable connector (green and yellow), a motor driver breakout board (MP6550 Motor driver carrier from Pololu.com) and a miniature toggle switch (red and DPDT, because I had it on hand, SPDT is sufficient). Not visible on the back of the main board are a pair of RC circuits and a mess of wires. Top view of the same board from the previous picture. Also visible are a pair of Kato N scale tracks. First test used a resistor as a load instead of the expensive turnouts. I checked the pulse durations with an oscilloscope. The background is a green cutting mat.

Yardsticks Most people measure their lives in years; I've decided to measure mine in chocolate flapjacks, expectancy nigh two thousand. There are other yardsticks some might apply like marriages, trophies, children, kings. I'm determined to focus on more important things, like the crispness of the cleave on my first chew, the way, when initial taste kicks in, the room just disappears, returns renewed as peculiar taste nirvana, befores, durations and afters of which lie imprinted upon my soul, so, much like our palette of rainbow years, each bite becomes subsumed, one chocolate blur, indivisible from its peers.

Coastal Luminance: Port Clyde at Twilight Location: Port Clyde, Maine Date: February 2, 2026 Timeframe: 16:45 – 17:25 This collection captures the transitional stillness of a Maine winter evening, documented during the "blue hour" at Port Clyde. Utilizing extended exposure durations and specialized filtration, these works explore the intersection of tidal movement and atmospheric light through a low-profile lens. Technical Narrative The series was captured using a Sony a7 III paired with a 28-70mm lens. To achieve the vivid, magenta-leaning spectral profile and enhanced contrast, an FLD filter was employed, saturating the cool tones of the horizon. By shooting at ISO 50 with a consistent aperture of f/6.3, the technical focus remained on temporal manipulation. Low-angle perspectives were utilized to emphasize the foreground texture, while exposure times ranging from 1 to 20 seconds effectively "froze" the incoming tide into sculptural, silken ripples, transforming the Atlantic’s surface into a static, glass-like state. Artistic Perspective The result is a monochromatic study in purple and deep indigo. The long exposures serve to deconstruct the chaotic energy of the surf, replacing it with a sense of profound serenity. By positioning the camera close to the shoreline, the compositions highlight the rhythmic, frozen patterns of the water as it meets the kelp-covered basalt. From these meticulously captured foreground undulations to the soft gradients of the horizon, this set invites the viewer to experience the immense, colorful silence of a mid-winter dusk on the coast.

It's neat! Preds can set up "paths" that the prey "travel through" during the vore process. If the prey set the prey character as their main, it reflects on the main timeline and posts and profile of Voresky as well! Variable durations and fates and content, from endo to fatal and reformation stuff!

I mean yes? People do this when a passenger is navigating and there are confusion over directions. Doesn't change who is driving. Obviously if it's bad if this happens a lot, in unsafe conditions or for long durations (like in the SF power outage) so more transparency would be good here

I think his is rated to 300lbs-ish...these are all basically built around being able to move bigger loads for extended durations where things like water is an issue or where you have to pack enough food across big distances such as Mongolia where there's a resupply factor.
