Speaking of antique Linux, this is the actual CD I used to set up my first Linux computer (a 386SX).
The early ones are now legal to import in the US. Of course, for us Californians, it would be rather complicated to register.

I got the distinct impression that no one at Tesla knew how to fix these early cars. Maybe a dedicated independent mechanic could have fixed it, but unless they were an ex-Tesla employee, there would be no way for them to know how and have access to the right diagnostic equipment.
I owned an early Model S (VIN less than 6000) and after 10 years, it developed a problem with its air suspension. Despite multiple attempt at repairs by a "senior technician" that had to come to the repair center, Tesla could never fix it. I ended up selling it to CarMax at a rock bottom price.
Are services like this one being rolled into loan payments? If so, some owners might not notice...
