1. Fucking prosperity doctrine
2. By-your-own-Boostrap mentality
If you're poor your not working hard enough, or your not godly enough. It follows that the poor must be punished more than helped.

also, my favorite thing in the entire world is to boostrap compile my broken as fuck garbage code with the old compiler, so i get code with crazy new features, which of course completely fails to compile itself. i wish all code was like that. so i wanna keep that experience

I'm actually working on a research project on what elements and compounds are required to boostrap up terrestrial biochemistry, and sure enough, many carbonaceous chondritic meteorites have most or all of the ingredients. It's not surprising that microbes set up shop on the samples so quickly

Just wrote some "High Performance" wild boostrap for SVARs in Rcpp and it is five times slower than Matlab. What a success bro 😀

I'd say yes, if you want to stick with bootstrap! With {bslib} you can use boostrap v5 instead of the v3 that comes as default with shiny - some of the OG shiny functions have bslib alternatives that are now recommended e.g. shiny::fluidPage() -> bslib::page_fluid()
