Advocate for robust funding for your library, join your library board, *go* to your library, use its resources, embody the commons! And undercommons as much as you can for those folks whose libraries are under attack (as Brooklyn, Seattle et al have done through BooksUnbanned)!
Literally, this is how capitalism developed - those in power converting the commons into private property and destroying people's ability to live independently (i.e. increasing their dependence on wages to survive).
We're so used to being deskilled. Why learn to cook when you've got a microwave. Why learn to sew when you can just buy fast fashion. Why learn anything, when computer can do it for you? Cuz it benefits capital for you to be stupid and helpless, that's why.

The Brooklyn Public Library has announced that any teenager in America is now eligible for a Brooklyn Public Library card.
Teens can sign out ebooks + audiobooks 
The move is designed to combat censorship, with some titles listed as "always available."
