I think what L4D and DRG do what other games that do the 4 v Horde thing don't is that the enemies are satisfying and fun to kill. Crunchy sound design, ragdolls flying everywhere weapons have impact, etc.
And also DRG adds objectives in the mix and it's so good like damn wowe

I have a Luna snuggling into my side- since she’s moved herself to the spare room as her safe spot from Stella - she’s become extra cuddly (prob because she would like to be around us more). Ragdolls are people oriented. One of us sleeps in room with her most nights works in there a few days a week.
