i don't think i'll ever be able to enjoy the holiday season. there's just too much garbage associated with it. Both personal and in terms of history.

In a lot of cases the bitterness is valid but that doesn't make me not tired of constantly having to do the emotional labor of making sure I don't internalize someone else's bitterness and hatred.
My family is struggling to keep a roof over it's head I don't have time for this shit.
