The Chateau Laurier is one of the most historic and famous hotels in Canada.
Located across from Parliament Hill, its history has links to the sinking of the Titanic, Canada's greatest portrait photographer and more.
It is also apparently very haunted.

Me, trying to explain Spelljamming physics to the players:

(My version of Spelljamming picks, chooses, and adapts elements from Spelljammer 2e, 5e, and the Aetherial Expanse by Ghostfire Games)
A white board with marker descriptions and diagrams… SPELLJAMMER “Physics" AIR - objects & creatures leaving breathable atmosphere for space carry an "air envelope" roughly 2x their mass This is enough to breathe for 1 minute. A ship's air envelope lasts 120 days before becoming foul air, and a further 120 days before deadly GRAVITY - objects of sufficient mass generate a "gravity plane" bisecting the longest point and extending through the center of its air envelope. We are up against a multi-faceted system of power where elements like capitalism, states, patriarchy, white supremacy, etc, etc are both overlapping and distinct. We need to resist the temptation, when confronted with this complexity, to locate some "real" economic cause for everything.
