#Megos
I was only ever able to get Spider-Man, Hulk, and Captain America out of the Marvel Megos. Currently hoping the Marvel Legends rumors are true and that they'll finally drop a classic Falcon next year.

😂😂😂😂😂 ¡Siiiiiiiii!

Y la frase al principio "Somos los Reyes Megos y venimos a adorar al niño"
"Pero ¿será posible? ¡Fuera de aquí, venga, a adorar a otra parte!" 🤣🤣🤣

Me and my MEGOs, circa 1978

Mego was my standard for a "real" action figure. I was positive that the teeny Kenner Star Wars figures were just a stopgap until they released the official Mego toys! Instead, they made those giant dolls! I was flummoxed. I did use the Maskatron doll as a giant robot to challenge my Megos, though.

“Back when I was a kid”, and Megos were all the rage, we had four of these in our household. I had the three across the top, and my sister had Wonder Woman. I never did have those mighty blokes at bottom left. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep: he graded it 9b+. Schubert and Megos agreed a downgrade to 9b.

I don't know what it was, but the Toy Biz figures never appealed to me like the old (and new) Megos did.

I thought about buying the Vision, but never pulled the trigger.

I adored the Hilderbrandt Brothers' Tolkien calendars. My aunt worked for Ballantine for a few years and she got me two of them. I would lose myself in them constantly. Wish I kept them. Tossed during one of many "I've outgrown that" purges, along with Megos, Micronauts, books, comics. I was wrong!
What's a poster you had up in your room growing up?

We had the Hildebrandt Bros’ Tolkien calendars around then and I was in awe of them, so when Star Wars came out, this was the key poster for me. Later I came to prefer the original Tom Jung painting, but this one still gets me.

Le problème c'est aussi les megos qu'on retrouve près du château de nos gosses à la plage.

Im reasonably sure I had these as a kid but because I was very young and several Megos look so similar I can't be certain

Dude look at all the gear you get with it. Megos are like 8” scale too so that chopper has got to be nearly a foot long.

Growing up in the heyday of Megos, I’d still declare - if you told 8-year old me that a) there’d be big budget Marvel movies with b) movie accurate action figures, I’d have been stunned.

This from the guy who had a Kid Flash Mego. Which was stunning, by the way!

Sometimes I think I know what drama is, and then I run into examples like professional rock climber Alex Megos marrying a woman 12 years his junior after acting as her legal guardian while she was an underage Ukrainian refugee living in his house, who he called his "little sister" in interviews. 🤢

How weird was it that our parents bought those toys AND we played with them as interchangeably with our Super-friends MEGOs and KISS figures?

I want Megos of all the Transylvanians.

I had several of those - Marvel and DC - and regularly wonder what the heck ever happened to them. I was a kid who took care of my stuff!

I think they went the way of my Planet of the Apes Megos…

In 1972, I'd have been all about the GI Joes. Megos weren't a thing yet, and I had not encountered Planet of the Apes at that point.

Also, by my sixth birthday I maybe owned 2-3 comics, so also not a thing.

What a time capsule!
