“Don’t be an insufferable asshole who constantly lectures people like I do.”

Brian Boyd's lectures on Lolita were always very clear that Humbert was a self-serving pedo rapist abuser; yet if Lolita lectures are not from an explicitly feminist perspective, you spend so long centering Humbert that it's ultimately an immersion experience for men in the idea of 'genius pervs'
Bad enough that this was in craccum, boggles the mind (and is unkind to the author who is not up to it) to put the longer, unedited (it must surely not have been edited?!) version out there for a wide audience.

Nabokov was a genius. Nabokov fanboys are A Problem.

obviously, public appearance lectures should be reserved for scolding people about atheism

I find it astonishing what we expect of children - don't think I could sit in five hours of lectures every day, five days a week and take in everything.

On that Everything is Connected front, especially malign forces, this from Nigel Farage’s senior adviser Cambridge Professor James Orr: “What a privilege to host Peter Thiel…for a stunningly original and erudite series of lectures.

“Thiel is a walking antidote to the modern multiversity. “

It’s 2026, the country is teetering on the verge of a fascist takeover, and already Democrats are getting “tamp down your expectations” lectures.
They can fuck off with this shit

Well, after writing lecture notes for this RL class, I see how people wind up writing textbooks. We're 4 lectures in and 80 pages of lecture notes

Dugin never had much influence in Brazilian universities. He gave a few lectures at some Brazilian universities in the past decade and has not been to Brazil for over 10 years. His last attempt to influence academia in Brazil was at the Superior War College, through contacts from Nova Resistência
Dugin’s influence in Brazil is substantial. Invited to speak at universities, including Brazil’s defense staff college, and with connections with extremist groups Nova Resistência and Frente Sol da Pátria, Dugin is key to the Kremlin's effort to establish disinfo networks abroad.

I’m going to talk about this in my Terry Lectures series at Yale University in March/April. It’s time. So tired of this problem.

The title of the three-part series is “Africanjujuism: Notes from the Termite Mound”.
