This week's Arcade Archives release is Konami's Labyrinth Runner from 1988. Rescue the princess from the Devil's castle with shots, lasers and bombs as you run through mazes and even go for a mine cart ride!

You wanna talk funny? According to Konami’s head of Silent Hill IP and cross-media development, Return to Silent Hill is the reason we have new games lmao.

"yeah christophe gans wanted to make another movie so we let him and brought back our gaming division to make bank off of it" is probably the stupidest and smartest thing konami's done in years

Concept art for the outside of the Arctic World Exhibit at the Old Gotham Zoo, from Konami's Batman Returns game on MS-DOS. Artwork by Ivaylo Vakinov. This area looks radically different than it does in the film, with walkways and park benches and lamps not seen in the film.

Post the first game you actually completed!

This is a very tough call, but I want to say it was the SNES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. I can safely say I didn’t beat anything in the NES era (I was pretty young!) so I’m pretty sure I beat this before anything else.

the goat ichikai still making touhou art under konami's palm 🙏

Clearly the only thing that will quell your burning rage is full English releases of complete lore breakdowns for all stories thus far and to come. Konami's hands are tied, it's the only viable solution.

I'll never fully recognize Hudson characters as Konami's

But if some time from now SNK starts selling characters or IPs to other companies I might not be that generous

"Oh uhm yeah Terry Bogard, my mh one of my fave Capcom charas, always been, know what I mean"

Oh wow! Yeah, the game has definitely expanded since the early days. I actually got lucky to hitch my wagon to Branded, one of the evergreen decks back in 2022 after a long time away from the game and Konami's been really goood about supporting it ever since

Or at the VERY least, a Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 Peace Prize

I feel pretty good today. :3

Hope you're all doing well.

I was kinda down recently. Didn't have much energy with the dull, dark winter days. But we've got a few days of sunshine coming and it really lifts my mood.

I'll go on a walk. Later I'll play Parodius SNES with a friend.

It's a multiple 8-Bit anniversary! 42 years ago, Tennis for Famicom was released, 39 years ago it was The Adventure of Link for Famicom Disk System (German NES-version pictured here) and then 38 years ago, it was Konami's Wai Wai World. All of those are pretty cool!

Changes all the time, but I'll go with these for now:

Sony was onto something in the early 80s, and this is an appreciation post

The Trinitron KX-1901A (or KX-20PS1 in non-NA regions) was a very sleek/futuristic 20" TV/monitor for its time (in this case, 1981) with an external TV tuner in the stand, optional wing speakers, and RGB capability! 💙

furiously knocking on konami's door screaming at them to tell me if graflare has a robot cock or a normal/dragon one because his baggy pants might be hiding the doomz modifications

My written response to Renee's murder at the hands of #ICE: nicksmovieinsights.com/2026/01/the-...

A short dialectical-material response, examining the #fascist implications while giving snippets of theory alongside historical and poetic examples (e.g., #lycanthropy and #vampires). #ReneeGood

This FM data format was also used in Konami's other Genesis games

honestly major smart move on konami's part to make a new game for ddr's anniversary that caters to what everyone remembers ddr for (freestyle swag) while ddr itself developed into more of a fitness execution test type thing

I'll get some glamour shots in for this week's #ScanlineSunday, with the contenders ready to put one wild show in Konami's Rumble Roses for PS2. Still one of my favourite versus games to play against Kit. 💜
