It's an entirely messy (avoidable) situation, Trash wrongly lumping‪@TheKavernacle‬in with functional fascists Bad Empanada and Vaush, wearing leftist clothing in bad faith ("ops"). To that, I explain my role in researching Bad Empanada, for Sunday and his chat; i.e., specifically how my work on Bad Empanada wound up in a video by Trash wrongly (and predominantly) accusing The Kavernacle of different things. As an anti-fascist critic of bigotry at large, I'm happy to argue that we're all somewhat bigoted to a degree (on a spectrum). Even so, much of what Trash said about The Kavernacle - despite being motivated by rising levels of fascism, ergo bad actors around the world harming queer and furry folk, et al - simply isn't accurate; i.e., according to the evidence they provide (very little) but also according to their own thesis argument (which I agree with). To hold ourselves as queer people accountable for our coverage of fascism - but also push for collective understanding regarding gaffs made by minority groups wrongly lashing out while under attack - I wanted to try and set the record straight, here. Some thoughts that occurred to me after the interview (and sleeping on it): One thing I didnt have a chance to mention in the interview were collaborations with BE by YouTubers cut from a similar cloth as The Kavernacle. In Kav's case, he doesn't collab with BE, but others like Second Thought, Yugonik and Haki[m] (the ML crowd) do. And there is a tendency among the Left more broadly on YT that I would critique for not saying enough about a Nazi op in their own backyard; i.e., even if Kav's feet are held to the coals wrongly by Trash (which they were, to be clear), speaking out regarding said behaviors is still important. All I expected of Kav, in a separate video, was to say something after addressing Trash's inappropriate behavior. But i did try to conceptualize what was going on in Trash's head; re: how they thought Kav was more of a white moderate than was actually the case; i.e., I investigate fascism and expose moderates, so I get the principle drive. However, they should have actually looked at my research, seen Second Thought and the others actively whitewashing BE by collabing with him, and left Kav out of it. Just to clarify. Research example, from my dossier on Bad Empanada (which gives no mention of The Kavernacle): https://nicksmovieinsights.com/2025/10/raising-awareness-regarding-bad-empanada-and-his-fascist-behaviors.html Highlighted section: Returning to the matter at hand, I'm currently reaching out regarding Bad Empanada; i.e., someone who has been "crashing out," in recent months (see: "The Chickens Come Home to Roost: Transphobe Bad Empanada Goes Mask-Off"); re: his fascist tendencies towards minorities (see: above essay, as well as "Slurs Aren't Activism," 2025—with more citations in my postscript). In short, I've been documenting this evidence for some time (since February 2024) and slowly releasing it on my website and in my books, but also on my blog and YouTube channel (where I'm less active). In light of this mounting evidence (and Bad Empanada's flagrant bigotry and grifter hypocrisy), I'm trying to raise awareness regarding his recent actions, but also those supporting him; e.g., Bad Empanada, again, calling for slave labor against his critics and labeling minorities "useless eaters" (see: evidence, below) while The Deprogrammed (and its leads: Second Thought, Hakim and Yugopnik) continue to endorse Bad Empanada, anyways; i.e., in "The Fire Will Cease (Ft. Bad Empanada) - Episode 166" (above) by keeping said episode up and plugging his stuff, but saying nothing about his recent crash-outs: As a small channel and trans sex worker to boot, I'm not sure what else to do but appeal to larger creators to see if anyone (GNC or otherwise) will comment on the story. Bad Empanada is a SWERF, but so are these men for shamelessly supporting him. They're turning a blind eye to fascism in their own backyard, which makes me question their own beliefs, when push comes to shove. Hope to hear from you, and thank you for your time, —Perse

Its tactics encourage state powers to intervene in university programs, to censor art and television programming, to forbid trans people their legal rights, to ban LGBTQI people from public spaces, to undermine reproductive freedom and the struggle against violence directed at women, children, and LGBTQI people. It threatens violence against those, including migrants, who have become cast as demonic forces and whose suppression or expulsion promises to restore a national order under duress. That is why it makes no sense for “gender critical” feminists to ally with reactionary powers in targeting trans, non-binary, and genderqueer people. Let’s all get truly critical now, for this is no time for any of the targets of this movement to be turning against one another. The time for anti-fascist solidarity is now.
