i genuinely do understand why people would want to have security cameras around their house so they can pull up footage in case something happens. dashcams also! if i get in an accident i want footage that it wasn't my fault. what i DON'T get is why y'all are watching that shit live on your phone

Fines for driving offences caught on dashcams should be split 50/50 between the person driving and the police - to incentivise the public into turning in bad drivers.

Cameras I have in the house right now are for cats. Don't watch them live but they help us know when stuff happens between them or if there's shit we'll have to fix when we get home. I wouldn't have them otherwise

Dashcams I kinda get more over house cams

Ellis asks about dashcam videos. Harvick initially says "some of our vehicles are rental vehicles which we put red-and-blue portable lights in."

But then he says CBP vehicles, in general, don't have dashcams.

He confirms for Ellis that the only video would be from body-worn cameras.

ME: I dunno, I don’t really watch them. I liked Midsommar. Or I guess I read the summary on Wikipedia. I’m mostly on TikTok. Oh bro, did you see the one where the haunted doll came to life? So fucking scary. I like CreepyComps on YouTube. Top 5 scariest dashcams, shit like that

This is why people need dashcams. I hope Chicago and other states block the sales of any buildings to ICE thugs.

A suggestion, given Feds shooting:

Pls have Veterans/Security space out in protest line for *lookout* & defense purposes. If they see Feds/MIL boxing in protesters, they can intervene to keep people safe. Also consider using dashcams to keep hands free. Dashcams usually record 2 hours or so.

I started looking at dashcams on amazon, because Austin drivers are ridiculous, but it is impossible to compare stuff on there - it’s all terrible photos and descriptions with no useful info

An illustration of why body cams/dashcams/surveillance cams are such junky "reform" - prison guards and law enforcement can talk like this all day, every day, and it is almost never recorded; audio is only activated in scenarios when it can prove up officer commands and suspect confessions
The agent admits he treats immigrants like "they're animals" and that he tells his kids that they are animals "all the time"

People can get the Nike tracker in their running shoes. The chip is used to help runners track their routes/steps/etc. We have to find new ways to protect ourselves out here.

Also, buy dashcams.

I'm so used to riding my bike to work that when I do drive my car, I forget that I did.

Then I'll walk past my own car in the lot, see the radar detector and 3 way dashcam in the window, and say "wow, that person has the same equipment that I have. More people need dashcams and... ... ... oh."

Man wird das Gefühl nicht los das die Staatsanwalt Dashcams hasst, weil man früher einfach sagen konnte Aussage gegen Aussage, da können wir nichts machen und nun mussten Sie sich neue Ausreden einfallen lassen.

Pls. learn from other Erik Prince MIL ops, like Myanmar.

1. Space protesters so they can't be boxed in.
2.Have defenders/lookout w/binoculars to detect imminent shooting.
3. Use dashcams (not smartphones) to record
4. Have buses ready to get protesters to safety if they start executing protesers.*

New from 404 Media: this company turns dashcams into 'virtual CCTV cameras'. Then hackers got in. Hacker accessed terabytes of users recordings. Includes a user driving to CIA entrance; others at U.S. military bases. Big tech also buying images from the cameras

There is so much going on here it is hard to know where to start. Nexar sells dashcams to ordinary drivers. But it also monetizes users' data, uploads blurred images to a publicly available map. Nexar users I spoke to did not know Nexar was posting user data like this www.404media.co/this-company...

It turns out every Nexar dashcam came with an AWS key that too high privileges. Which let that individual camera upload its own footage, but also let an attacker access everyone else's footage too. Terabytes of data. Nexar fixed after I contacted www.404media.co/this-company...

Buy dashcams! Several of those cars could have caught their faces and they wouldn't even know it. But yes, call their asses out, too.
