I should also mention that the Clerk of Court of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (not the judge) did unfortunately rule that I owe $405.00 in costs. I think that's a clear error, so I'm contesting it. www.plainsite.org/dockets/down...

Had to take the husband to attest that I was who I said. THEN it was ANOTHER 15 YEARS before I could get the new ID because EVERY time I went they rejected SOME document. Then I had to change my name AGAIN when one document appeared hyphenated. Not contesting a ghost hyphen. Hyphenate me.

I have to go to a virtual hearing about a ticket for an expired registration, even though I provided proof that I paid my registration before it expired when contesting the ticket online...so that's fun.

I don't understand how these things are in conflict. If you are a democratic socialist or social democrat, and you want to try to steer the national party contesting elections, DSA is a great place from which to do that. Many of your union siblings in WGA are already members for a reason.

I did it after the presidential election because Harris and the DNC let all of us down by not contesting the vote count. And then, in abject defiance of OUR Constitution, they swore the fucker in! So I re-registered myself as an Independent, which, frankly, feels better all the time.
