Living with ulcerative colitis is something that takes a real toll on my life. It took me over a decade to get a diagnosis, and even since then it’s often been a struggle to get the right IBD care. It’s something I’m going to try and talk about more.

January has been a really tough month so far! First I had macular pucker surgery from which I am still recovering now. Our dog Percy lost by Vet, had a 3 day recovery from and still gets meds for. Today our son got admitted at 5am to Hospital for Colitis. We definitely need some rest now.

Thank you! High school body weight was 125. At 30 135. At 32 dropped to 116 at diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. Now I’m 160! 170 now…gained weight from the added sugar from the deli I was eating. Feeling better…😎🤟🏻
