Because all this "Boycott Disney/Hulu" really ignores the ESPN and like 30 other channels of it all.
Boycotting Disney could avoiding a Marvel movie or multiple streamers, like Fubo, Marvel comics, various books. Merchandise from toys to clothes to whatever. Like the scope is massive.

Testing my frankenstein'd PC for ripping DVDs and CDs.
The SATA DVDROM drive is broken so that'll have to go. The SATA DVD burner works fine and is set region 1. Will test the IDE DVD burner (set to region 2) and CDRW drive later.
So far: great success!

And my DATA CD, CDR, CDRW, DVD, DVDR, DVDRW and every software install since I bought my first IBM 286-8, I purged 1000s of floppy disks a decade ago, put them on DVD, now they have to go. EVEN my expensive DJ music, probably $30k invested over 3 decades. NO use for it now. MP3 and Bluetooth now

Reading in 2025, a lot of the coded friendship language in these 2013 issues of MTMTE reads to me as clunky or deliberately alien; but of course, what it was really doing was hedging around that direct admission of queerness, which is wild to read now, because CDRW are so obviously a married couple.

I remember Cygate as a big big ship; tumblr felt giddy with the possibilities, after CDRW went canon. Would there be perhaps be authorial confirmation that the subtext between Cygate was purposefully romantic? It felt audaciously possible. Such were our dreams in 2013.

Huge missed opportunity right there… people could have had Linux distros on AOL discs, people with their favorite sex soundtracks, family photos, etc…
