Thanks! Reelfoot Lake is a photographer's paradise. Sunrise and sunsets are so brilliant there because the topography is basically flat in west TN.

A ring-billed gull dives for a fish in a pond. A whooping crane is after a frog to eat. A great blue heron is diving for a fish. It's head and neck are completely submerged. Nobody dives for food like the Canada Goose a.k.a. the "Cobra Chicken".

There's a great blue heron silhouetted in that cypress tree over Reelfoot Lake in west Tennessee in this photo. Reelfoot was formed by the New Madrid fault earthquake in 1811.

Out on the boardwalk yesterday at Billy Frank Jr Nisqually NWR and there were quite a few Surf Scoters diving for small crabs (and enjoying them immensely by the looks of things.)
