I enjoy photography first, birding is a side effect of my hobby. Most of my photographs are from the urban landscape of the Midwest United States, which goes to show if you give nature just a little breathing room, amazing things can happen.

This morning the sky was clear and bright and....COLD. Woke up to -10C (14F) which I think is a new record for October 13th.
This will be the end of the fall displays so I am glad I got this shot a few days ago.

A line of trees with blue sky & white clouds above. At the base of the trees a strip of yellow grasses with a few dark red shrubs. Starting mid frame and stretching down to the right corner, water mirroring the fall colours. The strip of trees are mostly gold coloured poplars center and left. The right side is dark green conifers.
