Good morning. Happy Wednesday.
Unrelenting flow changes the landscape, even if we taste drought, we keep cutting our path.
Have a beautiful day, my friends.

Funny to watch Katerina Gordeeva and @zygaro.bsky.social strolling down Hillhouse Ave. I lived in New Haven for a decade, and parking on that street was always a pain in the neck. I hope they walked over to Chapel and got some Arethusa Farm Dairy ice cream. youtu.be/UD0rjsUCOp0?...

Ancient Greek coins with a water theme. Pieces from the 5th to the 3rd century BC 🌊

From the crab of Akragas and the seashell of Taras, to Arethusa of Syracuse, Poseidon, and other sea creatures. Each coin carries the maritime spirit of the ancient Greek world.

It's been very gratifying to see the positive reaction to our #AdventCalendar post today celebrating the subtle, bigging up the beauty of browns, the less colourful butterflies that can fly under the radar. Here's False Grayling & False Mnestra Ringlet; there's nothing 'false' about those.

Arethusa Farm dairy in CT makes probably the best super rich creamy noggy nog I think I've ever had. My brother usually brings a bunch around for christmas.

The Arethusa Farm store is 20 minutes from where we hold the Robin Hood Medieval Faire and so help me I will buy a pound of Tapping Reeve for next season. I'd get a fucking wheel of that shit were I able.

I do a lot of online video searches to learn about others' photo editing techniques or camera gear reviews and I've learned one thing to save you lots of time:

If it begins with "What's up guys," or similar, shut it down faster than Warp Speed 8.

Here's a Nov. shot of Arethusa Falls in NH for you.

Also the figurehead of the Arethusa (previously HMS Peking), the last British warship to go into battle under sail (Crimean War 1854). Latterly a training vessel.
