My experience also was that the Boomer generation was no help to me - my mother had issues breastfeeding and my MIL didn't have the same crazy ass spray the baby in the face while they wail in horror let down so I basically had to figure it out on my own (latch baby, let down commences, unattach
Breastfeeding is hard! I had two different experiences with two kids. *Never* really got it sorted with my first, had to wear a shield for the months we were trying. I used to cry in pain. Absolutely troublefree experience with my second. But also, return to work marked the end both times.

I read this story and it made me wonder how many ICE agents are taking women, raping them, and then detaining them. There's no accountability here, they get to do whatever they want and any victims are probably shipped off before they could say a word.
