This is exactly the same argument proponents of child labor made back in the 1890s when my great great aunt was working to end child labor sweat shops.
It's also the argument against raising the minimum wage, come to think of it.

1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
