Apropos of absolutely _nothing_, this is a really solid explanation of Backgammon.
The points are spaces, and each player is moving their pieces along a U-shaped track, but they're going in different directions, so they can interfere with each other. If you have a piece alone, it can be landed on, and captured, and it must start over. If you have 2 or more on the same point, that

Videogames are pretty amazing. They are a mashing together of art, music, writing, audio design, UX design, game design, programming, QA, maybe filmmaking and acting too. Thats a lot of creativity and skill!

Correcting myself! I though this is was a @postmarkgames.bsky.social game, which really are amazing, but it’s apparently from Looping Games and it’s still gorgeous.
Some flipping and writing in Around the World in 80 Days. Perhaps an obvious statement given the Postmark catalagoue but I like map based writing / drawing games.

HAILING STRAITS: Where the sky rains rocks the animals need shells to survive. The Creashells are utilised for transport, haulage and even as pets.
