The first thing I see when I open your dumb, barely-works-as-a-gaming-social-app app (chat requests don't show up until restarted, etc.), is a page full of ads.
Invading my screen space with a POP-UP AD on top of all that shit is entirely un-necessary.

Fewer things more frustrating when trying out Linux than having a wifi adapter that:
1) Works, because you've use it in other distros.
2) Is recognized by lsusb.
3) Has all the necessary drivers installed for it.
And still, Linux is just 🤷♂️when you try to use it at all.

Heads up for folx playing Arc Raiders: Embark has openly stated (in an interview with GamesRadar+), that the game uses the same AI voice tech as The Finals, and the CEO has talked about using AI to generate 3D models from YouTube rips.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

I guess it's worth mentioning that my grandmother had fallen into said rabbit holes on Youtube. My great-aunt introduced her to a bunch of kooks on YT, next thing you know grandma's just letting it auto-play and now she's watching "proof" of "reptilians" at the Royal Wedding. 1-?
