Read this but also even just the paragraph that starts “On the 30th anniversary of the massacre, Thompson went back to My Lai and met some of the people whose lives he had saved…”

Op-Ed: A forgotten hero stopped the My Lai massacre 50 years ago today
Everybody’s heard of the My Lai massacre — March 16, 1968, 50 years ago today — but not many know about the man who stopped it: Hugh Thompson, an Army helicopter pilot.

if dems want messaging help, stop telling people you're "fighting back." it sounds like you're being mugged. call off the podcaster search, take your ridiculous money pile and try opening some food banks and free clinics. hurricanes are coming and the feds have no plan. looks like an opening to me.

NEW: In 2016, Belgrade mayor Siniša Mali told a court that foreign friends had paid school fees for his children that cost 5x his salary.

We found that the money came from three offshore companies — including one owned by Mali himself.

The signing of this economic partnership deal is a reminder that Ukraine has never been the obstacle to peace or progress with the U.S. Ukraine has agreed to just about everything Trump has asked for.

Putin, on the other hand, keeps playing Witkoff and stringing the U.S. along.

Last month, I gave a talk to the Kansas Federation of Republican Women, addressing the myths I have encountered about Ukraine and US support for the country. It's lengthy, but I do think it was informative.

ENJOY!

Think semiconductors are spared from the tariffs? Think again.

WIRED found that the list of exempted imports contains only a narrow range of items, omitting key products like GPUs, servers, lithography machines. It makes building data centers & chip plants harder.

Trump’s Tariffs Are Threatening the US Semiconductor Revival
While the White House carved out a narrow exemption for some semiconductor imports, President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs still apply to GPUs and chipmaking equipment.

Russia's non-military production seems to be in a slight downtrend (orange), while total industrial production still grows, but only slowly (red). This means that resources (especially workers) are shifting from the civilian to military sector of the economy.

Strong words from Lindsay Graham on the risk of new sanctions for Russia if they dont come to table. This bill seems to be congressional support for idea floated by Bessent and Trump for more sanctions (and tariffs 🤔) to pressure. Details matter. 🧵

Getting informal reports that as part of the mass layoffs at the Department of Education, the International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) Office has been "abolished."

IFLE administers Title VI and Fulbright-Hays grant and fellowship programs.

A disaster.

dont be ridiculous-i've made my position on the trump admin abundantly clear-its a disaster for Ukraine, European security & the US- which is why Europe is acting to go alone.
Just because trump is awful doesnt mean Biden team can be spared criticism - they had the chance to solve this & blew it to
Like this administration is showing strength, you mean?

It's nice to at least have a bar to compare with if you are already dunking on one side, tbh.

UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.
