Miss seeing so many peeps so am following the migration from Twitter to Bluesky. 🦄 Once a lurker always a lurker but at least I can see friendly faces, catch up on normal things, and not have what I want to see steamrolled by algorithms.

Reminder for artists: don't get blinded by the "big number" for an art project. Remember to do the math.
$3,000 for a tarot card desk *sounds* great. But in reality you're only being paid $38.46 per artwork. And if each artwork takes 20 hours to make, you're getting paid $1.92/hr

Making B&W comics for a few years helped me appreciate that it uses a different skillset from working in color. Though I've moved on from "The Junk Hyenas Diner" (for now?), I really enjoyed it, and I grew a lot from the experience.
