It's super satisfying to be able to say "thanks, I made it!!" when people compliment my crow skull belt. Bonus points for getting to talk shop with some of the vendors after this opener. This is my first year dressing up for Renfest and I 10/10 recommend it.

I probably picked a cup of violets and yielded a cup and a half of syrup. Definitely worth laying in the grass picking violets on a warm sunny day!! My yard is covered in them.

Every spring I make wild violet syrup so I can make lemonade with it. The syrup is PH sensitive and turns a gorgeous bright pink because of acid in the lemons. #foraging #violetsyrup
