I’m loving ripping out prototype blueprint logic once a concept works, and moving most of it to a custom character class with #c++ interfaces I can expose to blueprints ✨ example of stamina state stuff & sprinting here

Okaaay, MVP ground locomotion is done for now! Walk -> run -> sprint -> exhaustion working, with some custom #c++ code in the background to handle the stamina states 🔥

Secondly, I’ve designed a new cup mount in #blender with a smaller pot, dedicated channel for an air hose, and is self-centring on most random jars I’ve tested. In them I’ve planted scotch bonnet peppers and thyme! #yinteroHydroponics

Side project: friend in Jersey gave me an old 1960s camera as he’s got many and I’m curious to get into film. I’ve been doing that thing where I use #blender as a CAD tool to design and print stuff so I don’t have to buy any lens spanners or caps 👀

Just finishing up a trip to #Jersey (JE 🇯🇪), was amazing to relax, hang out, ride motorbikes and do some animating with a longtime friend of mine. Some fascinating old bits of #ww2 history as well here!

Set up a #Linux storage server for our home network! It’s got two SSD’s for project storage and cache, plus two hard drives I had laying around for archive and backup.

2.5gbe is great for copying my huge #ue5 project files 👀

Another test clip from version 0! Testing summoning objects, ray casting, and VFX. Threw together a simple “aiming” anim as well for this skill’s state machine.

Zynga's textures are basically done, here's a quick Eevee screenshot from Blender! No hair physics until I export her to #UE5 this evening.

Still fixing some really tiny stuff this evening (UV errors I missed...classic) before I export ✨

These are super fun. This is my home office setup where all the 3D stuff happens in the evenings after work and on weekends. Not shown is my ancient 2014 Bamboo Create I still use for texture painting. Specs in alt text :)

Been done the refreshed base mesh of Zynga for a little while now, currently still texturing! Here's a WIP shot 🐉👀 She's one of two playable characters.

Accessories are currently textured, next I'll finish her body and hair. Tweaked almost everything except the optional armour!
