You know what's funny?

Kid 'n Play had a Saturday morning cartoon that was essentially House Party: The Animated Series. Most of the same characters and cast too.

So, yeah, I definitely watched.

The richest most powerful people responsible for the most casual misery in our lives type like drunks trying to find a ride home at closing time but they can only find the space bar and the microphone button.

Get rid of the idiotic pile of howard jarvis curses that make it impossible to budget the state because every tax has to fund one specific thing whether or not it needs it and every nickel and dime is managed by the state constitution and needs a ballot prop to change.
Commentary: California is a blue state with relatively high taxes now. Do voters want to add more or make it difficult to add more? bit.ly/3WUAtex

A funny minigame to play with This Old House is to see what they do to avoid showing the logos on drills and other power tools.

It worked for Nintendo. The situation is that the Yen is in the toilet so foreigners were importing Japanese consoles and flipping them to English to save like 20%. So Nintendo made a sku of the Switch 2 that can't have its language switched and can only run Japanese software.
PS5 Digital Edition - Japanese Language only console announced - 55,000 yen

fortunately I've learned the items and prices for fry's ads are mostly consistent throughout all the stores. I found the full 8 page black friday 2003 (I think the term black friday wasn't in common use yet) ad insert from the sac bee, and the prices were consistent with the Oregonian's single page.

It started as a practice and ended up as an elf character with no name. Feels very freeing to just draw something and let that evolve into something different.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.
