Civil Disobedience works provided the target of the action is the actual offender. CD doesn't work if the target isn't the offender--like fucking with traffic when traffic didn't kill George Floyd. Also CD IS THEATER and the purpose is to change the hearts and minds of those who see the CD action.

I live in Minnesota.
I’m going to my kid’s school when it lets out today. Parents are making sure kids get safely to buses and cars so they get home.
We’ll be filming.

The more people you can get to campaign for democratic or progressive candidates the better. Whether the race they’re highlighting is for town council or US senate, it’s still important . Not everyone is motivated by the same things to show up on Election Day.

I’m currently pretty disillusioned with Democrat leadership but credit where credit is due. They hammered out this deal which will genuinely help Americans with Republicans who will no doubt face serious blowback from their own party.

For those who advocate that our side go armed: if Ms. Good had been carrying, that gun would now be used to justify her murder. If she had displayed that gun, ICE would have unloaded on her and probably shot other people as well. Carrying a weapon makes a target of you and anyone standing near you.

To win hearts and minds, you have to show what the choices are clearly so people can decide which side to be on. We need to be visibly the good guys. That means use flags, get visible faith leaders, have vets, and BE BETTER THAN THEM. We are the patriots, the moral people, and the future.
