I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

My loose info so far is that the Minneapolis General Strike today had about 80 unions sign on, and it might be one of the biggest labor actions in decades depending on your definition

The Dept. of Education has pulled funding for programs in 8 states that support students with both hearing and vision loss.

A staffer at one program says he was told the Trump admin. took issue with 2 words on the grant application: “transition" and “privilege": www.propublica.org/article/trum...

Privilege came up because a parent wrote a glowing review of staff that said what a privilege it was to work with them.” ProPublica obtained a copy of the grant application and confirmed that those words were included.

My wife needed a test for a rare parasite. Johns Hopkins's Infectious disease team told us that the CDC no longer provides the serum test. JH Hospital then had to cold call a hospital in Canada to begin a process of having it perform diagnostic testing.

Expect a lot more of this.

The average American simply has no idea how quickly the infrastructure that keeps us safe and healthy is collapsing. These systems run in the background thanks to government employees who quietly do critical work. Those employees are being purged and systems are being destroyed.

I didn't like the discussion happening around the recent protest so I wrote a minicomic about it.

I know what you're trying to do. You think if you say: A: We need to do more than we did! Group, looking motivated: Ok! Let's do more! or, A: That action made a big difference. Group, walking away: Well, we did it! Everyone go home. B: People are the most motivated when they can see their actions causing an immediate change and positive effect. And they won't want to repeat actions they think didn't have a big effect. A simple graph shows a stick figure getting demotivated when the time to reach their result is too long. So this is the real effect of your words: A: We need to do more than we did! Group, concerned: That didn't do anything? Maybe my actions don't really matter... A: That action made a big difference. NEWS: Amazon has suspended its massive data center project in Becker as Minnesota lawmakers plan to roll back sales tax exemptions for the industry.

An epidemiologist at Columbia had to issue a statement saying the research article RFK Jr. cited with her name is FAKE. It’s not real. The paper itself doesn’t EXIST.

Yall this is fascism. FAKE scientific articles used by the government to influence policy is FASCISM. This is horrifying.
