The White House and other government entities are joining Bluesky as I type. That will bring a new group to bsky that many have not dealt w before. Don't engage, just block their asses. Give them no oxygen, starve them out.
💙✌🏻💙
They may arrive tomorrow
also why do we make art if not to reference the things that we find way funnier than anyone else xD
is there like a subreddit for iconic stock photos like this? I wanna know where to find this stuff xD
you'd think David Lynch had never heard of strobe lights before the last two episodes of Twin Peaks
me yelling at my cat drooling on me YOU ARE A SENSORY NIGHTMARE WRAPPED IN FUR!!!!!!!!!
not all my mental health issues. But a lot of them.
And then do lots of research on tools and skills that help ADHD (ideally developed by actual other ADHD people) and do your best to make yourself non judgemental so your kid feels safe going to you in a crisis. Be the safety net, not the thing that prevents failure in the first place.
my parents were so overly controlling though maybe this isn't really an issue for you lol

But if you're afraid of a lack of goals or schedules, you're probably REALLY afraid of the failure that could lead to. So just make sure your kid really knows all the stakes and natural consequences.
If there was one thing I wish my parents could've done differently for me was to be more comfortable with failure. Let your kid fail sometimes, its a fact of life. It's better to learn how to cope with failure now in a safe environment than as an adult with higher stakes.
complain all you want about Windows 11 but I just discovered it fixed my bugged out built-in Japanese IME typing mode
Just do a pushup instead of taking a drink. 🔥🔥
Not me trying to figure out how to write an entire 2 week trip to Japan off on my taxes
update: love how simple it is. Gets straight to the point. No fluff. Why are apps like that so hard to find these days?
It looks like a pretty effective 0 to 5k, so thanks for the info!
clap clap clap clap clap!!!

giving my cat a long lecture and seeing her reaction at having no idea that words mean abstract things is very funny to me
Reminds me of a weird thing I do when I write, I really like it at first, then in my head it somehow gets worse the longer I go without reading it, then I come back and read it like "why did I think this sucked??? It's pretty good???"
nice to know im not the only one feeling like this
I think there's a whole lot of different reasons that a person's life could actually be enriched by religion. I'm not religious either but I can talk about it with my religious friends without offending anyone.
