Farage, the RACIST in the early 2000s:

"There's no need to worry about the n*gger vote. The n*g-nogs will never vote for us"
Farage’s claim he only used racist language as schoolboy banter is shot to pieces as he was using the N word at 33..

But we know his claims are utter BS given his track record

“I’ve bought a house in Clacton”.. oops no I didn’t🤥

“I was advised not to hold in person surgeries” whoops no I wasn’t 🤥
As for Farage’s use of racist slurs being confined to his childhood - well, that's not what Alan Sked, the founder of UKIP, claimed in this 2014 interview.

He says here that Farage was using the "n" word as late as 1997.

Farage would have been about 33 at time.

Heathrow expansion

I think people need to be reminded that the Heathrow expansion and the associated work to the M25 is being entirely privately funded by the owners of Heathrow Airport.

It is not being funded by the government.

Trump envoy Steve Witkoff has been outed as a Russian asset. This is traitorous stuff.
Steve Witkoff helped Russia derail Ukraine’s access to Tomahawk missiles. He tipped off the Kremlin about Zelensky’s U.S. visit, giving Moscow time to arrange a call that convinced Trump to block the deal. Witkoff actively works against Ukraine’s defense, in coordination with Putin’s regime.

COP30

The Energy Secretary has made a statement in the Commons about the outcome of COP30.

Here is a clip of his follow up to the Tory shadow minister's response.

"The truth is, there is only route to energy security in the modern world, which is clean, homegrown power that we control."

I think we've found the next topic people will be pearl clutching over in faux outrage whilst simultaneously ignoring the full picture and all the facts...so here is a reminder of a post from a week ago...
This is really interesting.

The UK courts have a huge backlog which is only going to grow unless there is drastic action. Brian Leveson did review earlier this year. One recommendation Judge-only trials in some situations.

I was not convinced.

But here is the courts minister visiting Canada.

Last week the Senedd showed what grown-up politics looks like - with a respectful, 2hr debate on taxing extreme wealth and what that can mean for Wales.

It’s now time Westminster steps up to this long-overdue conversation, whatever tomorrow’s Budget brings.

All that for less £150

So grateful to Good Law Project. I’ve had antiabortion groups trying to shut me up before. It makes me more determined to speak up but the chilling effect is real.
Strong yes. All too often the law is used as a tool by dark money funded right wing activists to silence those who push back. We employed our defamation lawyer to try and level the playing field.
Hi Jolyon, are the Good Law Project able to help when abortion rights activists get legal threats for calling out anti-abortion groups spreading disinformation?

But do you know why it's important?

It covers production of elements from lithium to gallium & germanium to bismuth!

They are all used in the world around us, especially in our technology like phones and laptops!
