I guess this is a key insight into the minds of the MAGA supporters: They have already caused themselves a lot of pain by sticking to their delusions and support of Trump; they will not change their minds before they realise that not acknowledging their mistake will lead to an even greater pain.

Aaaaand, just FOUR days later, Trump TACO's and calls the whole thing off. Fuhgeddaboutdit -- No more trade war with Europe.

The U.S. sure taught the world a lesson!

(What was that lesson?)
New tariff just dropped.

Americans set to pay an additional 10% tax on all goods from Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

It starts in two weeks, rising to 25% by June.

(Aside: A trade war with one EU country is a trade war with the entire EU).

LOL this is the power of bond markets. It took one bad day for Trump to take the military invasion of Greenland off the table. It’s a weird sort of relief, but markets clearly are relieved.

Two weeks after the Maduro kidnapping, the Trump administration again does big moves during a weekend. Nice of them to disturb the markets as little as possible. It has been clear that Trump wants Greenland - there is no reason, he just wants it.

Trump does his best to dominate the news cycles by kidnapping foreign dictators, threatening to invade allies, and suing the central bank. It just makes me more curious what the Epstein files really contain. So far, less than a per cent of the files have been released.

According to FMI wave buoy measurements, the significant wave height reached 11.1 meters last night in the Bothnian Sea.

If true, it would be the highest waves ever recorded in the Baltic Sea.

Let's add
- Sinking of foreign ships without a declaration of war
- Deportations without due process.
- Trying to meddle in the internal politics of the EU by attacking democratically elected officials and directly supporting parties like AFD
- Unlawful delays of the release of the Epstein files
- Discredit the media
- Control the parliament
- Control or circumvent the courts
- Hollow out the government institutions
- Defund Academia
- Use military force against citizens
- Political murders

The USA is on a very troublesome path.
