Brings me back to my undergrad days studying international trade policy. This is 101 of trade policy. There is no “winning” here with tariffs and trade wars. It wasn’t even presented as a matter of academic debate. Ugh!! 🤪

🗣️ Bridging Divides on Social Media

Not all online conversations fuel division—some build connection. A new study identifies connective language: phrases like “I see your point” or “That’s an interesting perspective” that foster understanding.

These are very practical pieces of advice that anyone can do at just about any time and some are good for the timid since nobody can be blamed for losing a piece of paper or being slow getting some process done at work. That’s just called being a worker.
My dad was tortured by the Gestapo for 4 days and thrown in a concentration camp for being in the Norwegian Resistance. Growing up, he would tell me things he learned in the Resistance. I thought, I'm never going to need this stuff. Here's some of those things #Thread

In the case of Russia, TikTok twisted itself like a 🥨 to be able to maintain a present in Russia. TikTok users in Russia can see only old Russian-made content and all new content from Russia, along with live streaming and new non-Russian content are blocked.
