As Buyers Circle, Could Twitter Be Better Off As A Nonprofit?
Disney, Google and others are said to be considering buying Twitter. It's got baggage — lackluster ad sales, abusive trolling — but also millions of users. What if Twitter focused on a public mission?

One thing I have marveled at is the way that crowds have been disciplined in capturing immigration enforcement’s lack of discipline.

The regime despises poor people, yes. And importantly it does not fear poor people as a political force. It's important to take both of these together to understand what they are doing with SNAP. They do not believe that they will incur lasting political costs for their current actions.

Rubin's Mt Rushmore bands.
This isn't too far off from mine.
The Doors were the first punk band. Respectfully.
The Beatles are overstated. The Beach Boys did what they did better, frankly. Same timeframe.
Kraftwerk is an earlier version of what Portishesd did to music, FWIW.

I think one of the reasons Mayor Mamdani pisses off all the racists is because he's actually happily married, like the Obamas. Meanwhile, they're trapped in marriages that would financially cripple them if they left so they hate their spouses, cheat on them, and treat them like shit (JD Vance).

See, if you elect someone who never bought his own groceries, never scheduled an appointment, paid rent, bought medicine or cared for anyone.. then you get this.

Newsom: "Think about the state of mind of the VP. How do you square the circle when you go to a prayer breakfast? Old testament, new testament. What's the fundamental thing that connects John to Matthew to Proverbs? It's this notion of hunger, feeding the poor. It's central to advancing God's will."
