Joe Biden was a good President who did good things, and Kamala Harris would’ve been even better.

FREELANCER TIP: THE 25% RULE!

The MOMENT payment hits your bank account, calculate 25% of the value of the invoice and then transfer that amount immediately to a savings account and DO NOT TOUCH IT. THAT'S FOR TAXES. Then pay yourself the remaining 75%. Account for this when determining rates!!!
Just calculated how much I will have to pay in self-employment taxes since I've never been a contract employee before and

Oh my god?????

This is awful?????

The US government finds a new way to devastate me every day 🫠

So many posts like this, blaming “Congress.”

That is a hallmark of the deepest cowardice.

It isn’t Congress. It is REPUBLICANS. They are in power, they are murdering and robbing and destroying.

If you can’t say that clearly, you’re no resister. You’re a collaborator.

U.S. flags are still at full staff today, even after two National Guard soldiers were shot and one was killed days ago. They were lowered almost immediately after Charlie Kirk’s death.

Correct. Every Democrat voted against confirming Hegseth.

Every Republican voted to confirm him except for Senators McConnell, Murkowski, and Collins.

It was a 50/50 vote in the Senate, with a tie-breaker by JD Vance himself.
Thing is, we DID hear about it at his confirmation hearing.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth knew he held these views about the laws of war.

They voted to confirm him anyway.
Everyone should read this terrifying thread about Hegseth’s published views wrt war crimes. It’s pretty fucking radical …. We needed to hear about this in his confirmation hearing.

Seriously, what the fuck did white people see when they looked at those tea party rallies and listened to the Glenn Beck and his ilk speak?
Now White’s launching a bid for Congress, saying he will challenge Democrats who he thinks aren’t doing enough to keep their seats — starting with his own congressman.

I’ve been talking with White about his long-shot bid, and his desire for a “tea party” moment on the left.

Read the story here:
Jonathan White fought the first Trump administration’s efforts to separate migrant families.

Now, White says he has a new mission — challenging Democrats that he believes aren’t doing enough to fight the Trump administration.

Also. Next time someone tells you Ru is invading Ukraine preemptively to stop it from joining NATO, show them this and laugh in their face. Blaming these genocidal politics on Ru feeling insecure is peak ignorance or gaslighting.

Next time any piece of shit politician tells you that "these are russian territories", "everyone speaks russian there" and so on - show them this. That is the "how" and the "why". It is called ethnocide and has been done numerous times by russia over the past centuries, to erase us.

I've said this before but it bears repetition: the consequence of allowing bigotry & other cruelty into your coalition is that everyone starts to stand up for one another a lot less. That's one reason why tolerance of bigotry &/or cruelty is the antithesis of good antifascism.

And something that remains woefully unexamined is why, even now, there's a contingent that believes it is far more important to challenge Democrats than the GOP.

The regime is omnicidal. But the problem is that Democrats are not working hard enough to keep their seats.

But you can't have it both ways: Until we're able to get public financing of campaigns nationally (which *has* been done at the state level in a few states), campaigns are gonna need a shitload of private donations, and it has to come from *somewhere.* 5/
