One of things I despise my parents saying is "You'll understand when you have kids." I am 34 and undergoing IVF. There's still a chance I'll never have kids. And they know this. It's just so insensitive and awful to be reminded that they don't value my opinion as much because I can't procreate.

Fry is a trust proxy and I totally agree.

Remember that Star Wars has been experimenting with television at the same time the industry has experienced a pandemic, a writer's strike, and a streaming bubble pop. The movies have had different struggles.

We're lucky to have these stories at all.

Had to look that up. (Which says something for a big fan.) And ... I don't think I care? There have been ample hours of screen entertainment since then. Does this distinction matter if you're not a studio exec or part of the movie ecosystem?

HBO's new documentary 'Thoughts and Prayers' was chilling. It's a unique look into the businesses that profit off of school shootings. It's also one of the most sobering docs I've even seen.
