“Baby.” Qimir’s voice cuts through Osha’s jumbled thoughts, a slight amusement to the word like it’s not the first time he’s tried to get her attention.

Osha snaps back to focus, shaking her head to clear it. As it clears, a trickle of guilt spills through her because she shouldn’t be imagining kissing anyone other than her husband.

But she doesn’t actually want anyone but her husband. The sight had just… surprised her.

“Sorry daddy,” she murmurs, turning her head toward him but keeping it on his shoulder.

“Are you tired?” he asks, pulling his head back to look at her. “Do you want to go home?”

The heat redoubles in Osha’s face, because she wasn’t dozing, she was staring. And they don’t lie to one another. But she doesn’t know how to tell her incredibly jealous, possessive husband that she was wondering what it would feel like to kiss someone else.

What she especially doesn’t want is for Qimir to feel threatened by her friend. It seems like they only just managed to get him over his jealousy of Poe, even though the boy never once tried anything with Osha, and Osha certainly never imagined kissing the other Architecture student.

And it’s not like Osha actually wants to kiss Rey. It was just innocent curiosity born of surprise. That’s all. She doesn’t want to kiss her friend. Really.

what's the most dead dove pairings/dynamics you've ever shipped? mine was "he killed her mother right in front of her" but i left the fandom because some of them ran my writer and artist friends off with death threats and harassment
