For a while after grad school I worked on the histories of famine in Madras and I have never forgotten the cruelties of what it does to the human body. To know that this is an intentional, manufactured and now irreversible famine, and that no one seems to care makes my stomach churn.
I think this is the most horrifying post I have ever read.

UK economy loses £118bn a year to poor mental health.
