It appears that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has, within the past week, scrubbed a large amount of climate change content from its official website, as well as *removed human-caused warming* from the discussion on its "causes of climate change" page.

Historian of eugenics here. I don't normally like to retweet bad arguments, but this is such a fundamental misunderstanding of eugenics, I think it's important to point out. I don't have time to debunk all of the ways this is inaccurate, but I'll highlight a few things and then recommend some books🧵

Nor could that boat, before it was bombed, reach the United States. That’s important because it refutes the laughable claim of “imminence” necessary to wrap the strikes under the auspices of a lawful armed conflict.
I cannot imagine the level of moral bankruptcy to describe the actions of people whose boat has just been hit by a missile from nowhere (this was the FIRST such strike) and who were most likely making a desperate attempt not to drown in the ocean as trying to "stay in the fight."
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

Sure, what Witkoff said according to the leak is bad. But the real story here is that there is a leak at all. Thinking about who did it and why is the interesting part.

My column this week. This year has given us numerous examples of elites and institutions cowering before those who would destroy the best things in American life. And it's been a time when many, many more Alabamians have stood up for democracy, tolerance and the rule of law.
The small fights for democracy are the epics of our time | Alabama Reflector
In a time of elite impunity and institutional failure, the battles for American ideals are raging in a thousand different places.

Apparently RFK Jr. promised Senator Bill Cassidy that he wouldn’t remove the statement

“Vaccines do not cause autism” from the CDC website.

So what RFK Jr. did instead is spit in his face by leaving the statement there and adding this:

Let's say you take out a $400,000 mortgage loan at 6.25% - and choose a 50-year mortgage instead of 30 years.

In return for saving $283 monthly, you will pay an extra $421,302 in interest over the life of the loan.

Or if you sell at 15 years, will have paid down just $29,000 in equity. Not good.
INGRAHAM: Is a 50 year mortgage really a good idea?

TRUMP: It's not even a big deal. You go from 40 to 50 years. All it means is you pay less per month

What if I told you that Democrats have different audiences in different parts of the country which require different messaging and it's okay for Democrats to tailor their messaging to beat the GOP?
