When I first went to therapy in 2019 I admitted I thought I’d never make new friends and I had lost a lot of friendships by then. In 2025, I’m realizing that I was feeling a transitional period begin, and I’ve learned so much about myself since then.

I did not enjoy this book. Some history but really going deep into the queerness of food was weak. And the revolution part? Nonexistent.
We published a collection of first-person narratives on queer relationships to food in 2020. Those 9 essays were levels better than this whole book.
