Melbourne, Australia. Definitely on the left side of politics, social justice and the environment. I devour (and pay for) lots of media except for those owned by the Murdoch dynasty, or by US billionaires. Religion of any kind is not my thing.

It's 4,000 BC.

You are immortal.

The Egyptian pyramids have not yet been built.

You decide to save $10,000 EVERY DAY, never spending a cent.

6025 years later, it's 2025.

You still don't have as much money as Gina Rinehart.

TAX. THE. FUCKING. BILLIONAIRES.

Former (sadly) MP Zoe Daniel is a journalist - a good one - and it really shows in this excellent analysis piece, some of it about her own ex-colleagues.

Sad news about the Preston Football Club in Melbourne. A proud 143 year history in the VFA/VFL but no more. The AFL stripped them of their licence and won’t grant them $270k to clear their debts. But the AFL had no problem paying Snoop Dogg several million for 10-15 minutes work. Ridiculous.

A real news story would be a musician retiring on their Spotify earnings.

This guy had the opportunity to change the world for musicians. Instead he chose to maintain the tradition of the distributors making all the cash and dribbling just enough to the artists to string them along.

Bastard.

Charlie Kirk died in the America he wanted

Utsh governor on TV now wonders whether CK shooting is a turning point for the country. Why? Why would murder of a Trump-loving right winger have any more significance than the hundreds of kids killed in school shootings over the past years? USA is completely stuffed (as if we didn’t know). #auspol

Australia needs to distance itself from this crazy old man, NOW!

Murdoch's Herald-Sun headline right now: "Anti-immigration, left-wing activists set to clash in CBD". So those thousands of caring concerned people who turn up every Sunday are no more than left-wing activists. H-S disgraceful as usual. And of course they'd LOVE to see a "clash" happen.
